Thursday 8 March is International Women’s Day and there is NOTHING I like more than to celebrate other women’s achievements, milestones and stories of success.
Because on this small biz path one of the biggest challenges we face is OURSELVES!
With big beautiful dreams comes doubts, fears, and more often than not, a not-good-enough mindset that can hold us back from genuinely making awesome progress in our business to achieve what our goals.
Trust me, I am the first to question what I’m going, why I’m doing it and need to work really hard to overcome the daily struggle of being my own worst enemy.
So I got to thinking, if I have felt this way, then I wouldn’t hesitate to guess that you may feel this way too….some days.
These feelings are completely normal, but it’s how we decide to use them in a positive way and move forward that really matters.
And what better way to overcome these personal roadblocks, but to take a walk in another woman’s shoes and understand her own challenges, struggles and mindset games, to acknowledge we are not alone and we can move past it.
I believe there is power in understanding another woman’s story, so I’ve pulled together all my favourite interviews from the archives with various successful women in business in honour of International Women’s Day.
Check out my conversations with:
- Lisa Messenger, CEO & Editor In Chief, The Collective Hub
- Tess McCabe, Founder, Creative Women’s Circle
- Peta Shulman, Founder, Goodness Me Box
- Aimee Marks, Founder & CEO, TOM Organic
- Emma & Carla Papas, The Merry Maker Sisters
- Pia Mulhenbeck, Founder, Slinkii Athletic
Tell me in the comments below, what are some of your mindset challenges when it comes to creating small business success and which interview did you resonate with the most?
Happy International Women’s Day.
