1. What is your business and why did you start it?
My business is called ‘the Atlas of Consciousness’.
It’s a multi-media company (books, films, podcasts, and talks) which aims to bring the stories of incredible spiritual leaders to the world.
It also aims to ‘ground a New Earth’ by introducing mainstream audiences to ground-breaking concepts like how our personal emotions have influence and impact over our largest global issues like poverty and climate change, how we can talk to animals, and how mental illness is a gateway to a greater Awakening.
I started it as I had an ‘Awakening’ experience about 3 years ago where I felt deeply connected to all those around me but what also arose were my deepest fears and I experienced Psychosis.
For the next year I was on a huge healing journey and through that journey came ideas, passages, and inspirations which pulled me through to the hope of a new recovery and seeing my Psychosis as part of a greater spiritual journey.
I was inspired to then build a media company that endeavoured to bring light to the darkest places, showing us how we can reframe our darkest perspectives, and to give us all tools and techniques to support us in having community support on our own Awakening journeys.
As I have been a film-maker for 8 years, the Atlas was an evolution – supporting me in developing a business that combined spirituality, media, and creative producing.
2. Who do you look up to and what have you learnt from them?
I look up to many many people but those I deeply deeply admire in business are Thank You Water and Carrie Green from the Female Entrepreneur’s Association.
What I’ve learned from them is to be bold, to trust your own style, and to believe that living with purpose can truly be your guide to a more and more expansive life, connections with others, and experience.
3. Why is it important for women support women?
It is important for women to support women as there is an empathy there – there is an empathy in the difficulties we may have had to face (within ourselves) and at times externally that we can trust ourselves and truly live our dreams.
One of my deepest challenges has been in trust of myself – when I felt so deeply questioned outside, learning to cultivate trust within myself and to support others with a love and trust for them has been what has made it all worthwhile.
4. When you look back on your life what do you want people to say about your business / legacy?
When I look back on my life what I’d love people to say about the Atlas of Consciousness is that it really helped people and supported people through their darkest hours particularly in situations where there may not have been an alternative.
I would love people to recognise that the media and messages shared through the Atlas reached people even living within harsh 3rd world countries to find their spiritual centre, highest consciousness within themselves, and a way out of the darkness.
I would love to hear that the Atlas and my own personal journey inspired them deeply.
5. What’s one thing you wish you knew about business when you started?
The one thing I wish I knew about business when I started was how challenging it was going to be – I have been tested and challenged to truly hold faith in myself and my vision and perhaps looking back I would share with my early self to know this is all part of the journey.
6. How can we connect with you?
You can connect with me through various channels. Check out the Atlas’ website: www.theatlasofconsciousness.

Ella Gibbins is a film-maker of 10 years, creator, and founder of ‘the Atlas of Consciousness’ (a multi-media company which aims to ground a New Earth, build an Awakening community, and share new ground-breaking ways of seeing how our emotions affect our global issues).
Three years ago she experienced an Awakening which showed her how her thoughts created the reality around her, but also brought up her deepest fears. She ended up moving through Psychosis.
It has been through healing herself through her deepest fears that huge creativity has emerged – books, podcasts, and films – all which share a new way of viewing her emotions and her reality around her. These new ideas formed the guiding light to pull her out of her deepest fears.
She now works as a producer for the Atlas working with Spiritual Leaders to create cinematic films, photographs, and websites to share their businesses, and creates podcasts and films to share ideas which awaken us all to higher perspectives and view our Earth through a completely new lens.
She also works as a professional cinematographer and film-maker.
